Lady Owl Volleyball Update

This past tuesday the Lady Owl Volleyball team traveled to Granbury to play the Lady Pirates. The Lady Pirates defeated the Lady Owls in three sets to win the match, bringing the district record to 1-3. Tonight The Lady Owls are traveling to Aledo to take on the Bearcats. Varsity plays at 5:30/ and JV


All six Volleyball teams swept Granbury Middle School last night from 7th grade to 8th grade. The scores for 7th grade were: 7th grade A-team won in 2 sets 14-25(J) and 25-9(J), 7th grade B-team won in 3 sets 15-25(J), 221-25 (G), and 25-12(J), 7th grade C-team won 25-7(J), 20-25 (G), 11-25 (J). 8th grade

Fort Worth Invitational Cross Country Meet

Today the JV and Varsity boys cross country team traveled to Fort Worth for a meet.  The varsity runners placed: 1:  Kyle Copp:  9th overall (17:00) 2:  Joshua Mason:  12th overall (17:06) 3:  Logan Barnett:  50th overall (18:38) 4:  Seth Barnett:  68th overall (19:14) The JV team placed 3rd out of 13 teams. 1:  Ransom

Freshmen Football

On September 11th the Freshmen B team took on the Whitney Wild Cats and fell short 6-2. The Owl defense played a great game earning a safety, several sacks, and less than 100 yards by the offense. Taner Kennedy and Simon Askins set the tone throughout the entire night, while Jason Emberton directed the defense



Varsity Volleyball Falls to Burleson

Last Night the Varsity Volleyball team lost the match to Burleson High School. The set scores were 25-18(BHS), 25-23(JHS), 25-6(BHS), and 25-15(BHS). The match went in to four sets, but Burleson got the win in the 4th set. Joshua’s overall record is 18-10, and 1-1 in conference play. This Friday they will be playing home

Lady Owl’s at Mansfield

  On September 16 the Girls Varsity Golf Team traveled to Mansfield and competed in a tournament. They earned 1st place starting off the season strong! GO LADY OWL’S GOLF!

Volleyball Host Burleson Tonight for First District Home Game

Tonight the Lady Owl volleyball teams will be playing Burleson High School at 5:30/6:30 with JV and Freshmen playing the 5:30 game and Varsity after. Last Friday, the Lady Owls traveled to Everman defeating the  Bulldogs in three sets making their district record 1-0. Come out to The Galbreath Gym and the PIT to support

JV Football Defeats Royse City 27-8

The JV football team had their first home game of the season against the Royse City Bulldogs and won 27-8. Some of the the highlights from the game include  a 12 yard touch down run by Ricardo Moreno with an extra point by Jordan Alverez. In the Second quarter Joshua had a 5 yard touchdown

Lady Owl’s Compete at Fort Worth Invitational

This past weekend the Lady Owl’s Competed in the Fort Worth Invitational placing 5th out of 17 teams. In the Varsity category there were 123 runners and Joshua had two runners place in the top ten. Soren Underwood placed 3rd with a time of 18:56 and Kelsey Newton placed 10th with a time of 19:10.
